1. Who is responsible
Vahagn Mikayelyan, an individual, runs Your Ideas Space and is responsible for your personal data (the "controller"). Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
In short: what you give us, what the Service records when you use it, and what Google or X send us when you sign in with them.
2.1 Information you give us
- Account: email, password (stored only as a secure hash), first and last name, username, interface language.
- Profile (optional): occupation, skills, about, country and city, date of birth, gender, phone, avatar, cover image, social links, profile visibility.
- Content: projects (name, description, tags, open roles, logo, cover, visibility), posts, comments, reactions, tasks, chat messages, files and images, join requests and invitations.
- Messages to us: support requests and bug reports.
2.2 When you sign in with Google or X
We receive your name, email address, profile picture and, for X, your username. We don't receive your password and don't access your contacts, posts or other data.
2.3 Collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, language, time zone.
- Cookies and local storage needed for the Service to work — see Cookies.
- Usage events we record ourselves to improve the Service, for example pages viewed, sign-in method, onboarding steps and join requests sent. We don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
3. How we use it
In short: to run the Service, connect people, keep it safe and improve it.

We don't sell personal data and don't use it for advertising.
4. Who sees your data
In short: other users see what your visibility settings allow; providers process data only on our instructions.
4.1 Other users and the public
- Profile: Everyone on the web — anyone, including search engines; Signed-in users — only people signed in to Your Ideas Space.
- Projects: Everyone on the web, Signed-in users or Team only. For team-only projects, signed-in users see only the name, description, tags, owner and open roles.
- Your email, phone, date of birth and gender are visible only to you.
4.2 Service providers
These providers process data on our behalf:

4.3 Other cases
- Legal reasons: when the law requires it or to protect the safety of users or our rights.
- Change of ownership: if the Service is transferred to a company or a new owner, we will tell you in advance.
5. International transfers
Our servers are located in the European Union. We are based outside the European Union, and some providers (for example, email and moderation services) may process data in other countries, including the USA. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
In short: while your account exists; after you delete it, we remove your data within 30 days.

Messages you sent in group chats may remain visible to other members after you delete your account, shown as from a deleted user.
7. Your choices and rights
In short: you control your profile, visibility, emails and account.
- Change your profile, visibility and email preferences in Settings.
- Delete your account in Settings.
- Unsubscribe from non-essential emails with one click in any email. Service emails (join requests, invitations, security) can't be turned off while you have an account.
- Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA or the UK), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. Write to [email protected] — we reply within 30 days.
- You can complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
We only use what the Service needs to work, so we don't ask for cookie consent:

We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Embedded YouTube videos load only after you click play; YouTube's own policy applies from that moment.
9. Security
We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — if you find a problem, tell us at [email protected].
10. Age
The Service is only for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We will notify you about material changes by email or in the Service before they take effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
12. Translations
If translations of this policy differ, the English version applies.
